Web Reference: Nov 3, 2023 · Xcom 2 is a competent enough game that it can satisfy my xcom cravings for years to come. what cant be satisfied is my curiosity in exactly where the series was going, and thats something ill simply have to live with. at this point i think the best we can hope for with xcom is that it gets yet another reboot in 10 years. A better tutorial, more forgiving, and while some people may hate the turn timers, it prevents new players from camping and optimizing the fun out of the game. More objectives, better graphically, alot more replayability, etc. Xcom 1 has the better narrative and theming.
