There is a hard set timer of 90 minutes once the lid is closed, and then you must add the volcanic ash to produce the ultra compost. ------TL;DR Get 1,005 pineapples (or other item), and 1,675 volcanic ash. This will equate to 1,005 ultra compost buckets.
