Arceus is a white, equine Pokémon with an androgynous appearance. It resembles a qilin or centaur with a gray, vertically striated underside. The striated pattern also appears on the underside of its mane, tail, and face. Its four pointed feet are tipped with gold hooves.
Arceus, a Normal-type Mythical Pokémon, debuted in Generation IV. It's recognized as the Pokémon world's creator and holds the highest base stat total among all Pokémon. Arceus serves as the mascot for Pokémon Legends: Arceus and oversees the Creation Trio and the Lake Guardians.
The player character is transported back in time to the Hisui region by Arceus, who bestows upon them a device called the Arc Phone and the task of "seeking out all Pokémon".
