Flowey serves as the main antagonist for the Neutral and True Pacifist routes, and can be considered a deuteragonist for the Genocide Route. Flowey believes Frisk is Chara in the genocide route, which is the ONLY time that Flowey shows any kind of fear (well, besides the souls rebelling, but that’s a different kind of fear, and its very miniscule) in the entire game, even when killing him in the neutral route.
