Rules for Assigning Values Before assigning any value to variable we must knows the following things: 1) The numeric values should be declared without double quotes. 2) The String values should be enclosed within doublequotes(") 3) Date and Time variables should be enclosed within hash symbol(#) 6. Life of Variables When you declare a variable within a procedure, the variable can only be accessed within that procedure. When the procedure exits, the variable is destroyed. These variables are called local variables. You can have local variables with the same name in different procedures, because each is recognized only by the procedure in which it is declared.If you declare a variable outside a procedure, all the procedures on your script can access it. The lifetime of these variables starts when they are declared, and ends when the script is closed.in this example you can see the scope of variables. Procedure Variable will not accessible at outside of function. 8. VBScript Array Variables An array variable is used to store multiple values in a single variable.In this example you can see the one dimension array. you can also create the multi dimension array as well in vbs.In this example you can see how to declare the Array variable 9.
