I encourage anyone who does not feel threatened by Pythons to keep them around if safe to do so. If you have children or Pets such as Dogs or Birds, we would rather come and get the snake to relocate it. We live somewhere that is surrounded by habitat that husbands many unique animals, including our snakes. We can't blame the snake for being here, remember they were here first.
