He was a professor of mathematics from 1914 to 1940 at ETH Zürich and from 1940 to 1953 at Stanford University. In 1945 George Polya published the book How To Solve It which quickly became his most prized publication. It sold over one million copies and has been translated into 17 languages. In this direction, mathematician George Polya crafted a legacy that has guided countless individuals through the maze of problem-solving. In his book “ How To Solve It,” Polya provided four fundamental steps that serve as a compass for handling mathematical challenges.
