YouTube Excerpt: Datafiles if you want to follow along: https://pastebin.com/raw/TcY8EGkH https://pastebin.com/raw/v8HZdM01 More infos and download link at gnuplot.info This is the first part of a video tutorial series about gnuplot, a free data visualization and plotting program. In this video I show how a basic plotting command looks in gnuplot and how you can quickly visualize the data from some measurement or simulation. I show how color and appearance of the datapoints can be changed and how analytic functions can be plotted. Then I change the output from the default wxt terminal to a png image file and save the plot. Finally, I show how errorbars can be included in the plot and how gnuplot can do calculations with the data provided. The font used in the thumbnail is called Inconsolata by Raph Levien. It's a beautiful monospaced font and if you do any programming at all and are looking for a different font style for your editor you might want to check out his website: https://levien.com/type/myfonts/inconsolata.html
