He is a licensed RESNET Home Energy Rater, a LEED Accredited Professional, a BPI Building Analyst, a BPI Shell and Envelope Specialist, a BPI Heating Professional, and a graduate of CSU’s first Green Building Certificate Course. Originally lured into green building by straw bale homes in the early 1990s, Bill has managed and/or built a number of progressive homes, including two featured on the cover of the Boulder Green Building Journal and one on the front page of Conservation Magazine. Since co-founding GB3 in 2008 with Grant Swanson, GB3 has audited and retrofitted thousands of homes throughout Colorado. GB3 is committed to making homes and offices more comfortable, healthy, and energy efficient.
