2020 Staff Horseback Ride at Bar Lazy J Guest Ranch in Parshall, Colorado

YouTube Excerpt: Bar Lazy J Guest Ranch is located in the small town of Parshall, Colorado and each summer the ranch welcomes guests from around the world for a week-long stay and provides some of the most beautiful horseback riding in the world. The ranch is an authentic dude ranch nestled in the Colorado Rocky Mountains and has been in operation for over 100 years with the current owners, Cheri & Jerry, having owned the ranch for 25 years. The ranch staff consists of wranglers, kids counselors, ranch hands, and a kitchen crew. The staff comes from all over the USA and typically arrives in early May to help "open" up the ranch from the snowy Colorado winter. This includes acclimating the over 100 ranch horses to the trails and on May 9th, 2020, I was fortunate to join most of the 2020 staff for a 2-hour "walking" ride on one of the trails right next to the ranch.
