YouTube Excerpt: Hey, Bradford County! Your Sheriff, Gordon Smith, would like to share a few details with you regarding the County’s revitalized Code Enforcement program. Our goal is to ensure that the safety and interests of Bradford County’s residents and visitors stays a top priority, while also allowing for our deputies to enforce minor violations without filing criminal charges. Initially, our Code Enforcement Officer will work to resolve issues surrounding overgrown lawns, excessive garbage, junk cars, campers and sheds that are used as dwellings, and noise complaints. Our number one goal is to resolve the issue as easily as possible. However, if we are unable to do so, our recent changes will allow our Code Enforcement Officer to issue citations, which could result in progressive fines.
