YouTube Excerpt: Bug Blaster is a 1983 Centipede clone from Alligata Software and written by Steve Evans, who also wrote several other games for Alligata such as Eagle Empire, Defender, Lunar Rescue and Cosmic Asteroids. Not much you can say about another Centipede clone, but this one is well programmed, the graphics are colourful and very smoothly moving. The sound is perfectly ok for a Centipede game. All the elements seem to be their including the scorpion that poisons the mushrooms. A good version and I enjoyed playing it. This run was made on the 28th January 2023 using the BeebEm emulator on PC. The score reached was 20,101 points.
