If you're watching in the future, this "tutorial" may be out of date. This shouldn't be something you directly copy paste from, but if you do, you should change things around, see what you can do. My mods don't use patching very frequently, because I prefer to avoid using Reflection, but if you wish to integrate a mod with a game's systems, or to replace a game's systems, patching will likely be your best bet. Yeah, sure enough, MelonLoader 0.5 changed how logging works.
