The Problem with "Blue Spirulina"

YouTube Excerpt: Spirulina is a blue-green algae in which the green pigment is chlorophyll and the blue pigment is phycocyanin. This used to be extracted from spirulina and sold be one company under the name Blue Magik. (This was from a company that primarily sold AFA Blue Green Algae, which also contains phycocyanin but their phycocyanin product came from spirulina.) Then it got really popular and was sold all over the place as blue spirulina. In some ways, I think it's great, but I do have a few bones to pick here... what do you think about these things?
