We got out of the van, loaded up our packs with 3 days worth of food and drink, and hiked up 6 miles to the treeline border where we set up camp. The next day, we did a delightful dayhike up to Abyss Lake. Came back for a night of stories and various hot chocolate and cider cocktails. Amazing company and spectacular views!
