After a lackluster first season it was time to retool. Dennis Cole vanished, the unseen 'Bracken' suddenly turned up in person (via Leslie Nielsen), and a new theme debuted. But to no avail; Bracken's World stopped spinning after 41 episodes. David Rose ('High Chaparral') composed a strongly energetic main title; for season two The Lettermen crooned 'Worlds', a new theme song by Rose with Alan and Marilyn Bergman.
